There are some aspects of real estate transactions that outsiders might consider automatic, but, with a realtor as thoughtful and creatively intelligent as Jade, you come to realize are actually unique and essential to attracting the right buyers.  Jade’s selection of photographers, his decisions about how to direct the photographers, his presence and handling of the open houses and inspections were all key drivers in the successful, time-pressured sale of our two residential income properties.  Jade’s understanding of buildings, both as a contractor, and as a Silver Lake local, were absolutely essential in assisting us and our buyers with closing on these 2 transactions. We cannot recommend him highly enough.

Jade Devitt is an agent unlike any other. From start to finish, Jade went above and beyond to help us purchase our first home. There are so many agents out there that it's hard to differentiate. What makes Jade unique is his background working in painting and construction. As we saw house after house, Jade pointed out red flags and even made suggestions for improvements I couldn't have dreamed of. He read through seller disclosures and summarized quickly in terms I could understand. He caught a property line issue in a disclosure that made one house a deal-breaker. I always felt that he had our best interests in mind. He understood what we wanted and found unique properties to show us. In the cutthroat and downright discouraging Southern California market, he was there to make the whole process not awful. When we finally found THE ONE, he was there on the ground in person going out of his way to make sure inspections went smooth while we were unable to be on site. As a first-time homebuyer, there are so many things that you learn quickly and barely have time to Google. Jade was always available to answer my questions that I'm sure were annoying as we got into the mountains of mortgage paperwork. :). You will not find a better agent out there. Plus, when you're going to see 15 houses in a row on a Sunday, you want to make sure you're in good company. Jade was always on time, had an impressive schedule laid out, is fun to hang out with, and payed rad music in the car. We're so happy in our new home and couldn't have done it without Jade.

Jade was incredible to work with and was instrumental in us finding our dream rental property in Los Angeles. Referred to us by a family friend, Jade went out of his way to get to know us personally -- starting by setting up a call to learn specifics about our needs and desires in a home. When we met in person, Jade curated an itinerary of places to explore and we hit the ground running. We are moving to Los Angeles from out of state and his local expertise in the east side of LA was a massive benefit for us. He was able to show us some very unique properties in neighborhoods that we might not have otherwise considered. My first home purchase couldn’t have gone more smoothly. Jade and I had been looking at homes for over 8 months and I had a pretty specific wish list. We finally found the perfect place in a great neighborhood, but Jade felt it was overpriced and needed some updating. I can’t emphasize enough how valuable Jade’s vast knowledge of home renovation was during this process. Jade was able to provide estimates for the renovations i wanted, so we could make an appropriate offer. We settled at a price that I was happy with and Jade managed to get a reduction for repairs needed that were discovered in the inspection process. Once our offer was accepted, Jade organized and attended every inspection - general, pool, sewer and chimney - and kept me updated every step of the way. I had no idea how extensive this process was so it was great to have someone i trusted handing all of the details. I can’t imagine buying a house with another realtor. This was truly a stress free, enjoyable process.
